So remember how safe I said we felt at Disney??? Well......

January 16 - 24th

So after Texas we were faced with a TOUGH decision...do we try to pull BIG BEND to the ski slopes of Utah OR Colorado OR New Mexico and chance us making it safely....OR do we head back to Florida and soak up more vitamin D. It wasn't a hard decision surprisingly (pulling 30,000 lbs including 2 kids and a puppy in potential winter storms no longer sounded like a great idea!). WE HEADED BACK TO FLORIDA:)!

First stop - Fort Wilderness (remember the BEST RV resort). This time we decided we would spend the week at Universal Studios. Again, we told the boys that we would try it to see if we felt safe- no guarantees we would be able to stay. Well I have to say that Universal Studios did an even better job than Disney! This included all the safety measures Disney had in place, along with a dedicated staff member that would pump one squirt of antibacterial lotion onto each and ever persons' hands just before you were boarding the ride! We were blown away. We absolutely loved Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. In fact, we liked them more than Disney. We loved everything from Harry Potter, to Marvel, to the Minions, and so many rollercoasters! I even road all BUT one rollercoaster with the boys (FOMO is real). I’ll have to save the HULK coaster for another time (or never). Seriously, we never waited in line more than 15 minutes. CRAZY, I know.

Sandie was so happy as she got to stay (again) at Disney’s Best Friend Hotel! Although she loves all the critters at Fort Wilderness, she loved her playtime with all her friends at the hotel! She even brought home a report card home daily:).

We also made time at TOP GOLF in Orlando...the boys wonder why there is not one in Bend?!?! They also found the ”best” miniature golf course ever...but I think they say that about ever miniature golf place.

Steve said he would definitely return to Universal Studios with all the thrill rides (and just maybe because alcohol is served everywhere:). Both boys agreed that Universal was the BEST!
