Goodbye Rainbow Ridge! - Sept 6, 2020

The day before our planned departure, we felt pretty good about getting everything loaded and taking off bright and early the next morning! But, as the sun set and the floor of the house was still covered with things to load, we reassessed.

...Fast forward to noon, Sunday, Sept 6th. Organization became secondary to just getting everything in the 5th wheel. Finally, early afternoon we set out for Uncle Rick and Aunt Vickie's house in Umatilla. Thankfully, we would be able to stay with them for a night before venturing to Montana where we planned to meet Grandma Judy and Grandpa Jerry in Red Lodge.

It was hard leaving Grandma Margaret on Rainbow Ridge, but we know she's in great hands with our loving neighbors! Thank you, Mom, for volunteering to keep the homestead running while we are gone.
